AIKOME · Privacy Policy

Your data, handled with care.

We collect the minimum needed to run the AIKOME waitlist and, later on, the AIKOME platform — nothing else. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it.

Effective · [DATE TO BE SET AT LAUNCH] Version · 1.0 Jurisdiction · EU (GDPR)

At a glance

  • If you join the waitlist, we collect your email, your role, and optionally your company / channel name.
  • We use it to email you about the waitlist — nothing else. We don't sell it, we don't share it with advertisers, we don't train AI models on it.
  • No analytics or trackers as of today.
  • You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time. One email to privacy@aikome.co.
  • This policy will be updated before AIKOME launches its platform — we'll notify everyone on the waitlist when that happens.

01Who we are

AIKOME is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME — e.g. AIKOME S.r.l.], with registered office at [REGISTERED ADDRESS], VAT/Tax ID [VAT NUMBER]. We are the "data controller" for the personal data described in this policy, which means we decide what data is collected and how it's used.

You can reach us at privacy@aikome.co for anything related to your data, or at hello@aikome.co for everything else.

02What we collect

When you join the waitlist

When you submit the waitlist form on aikome.co, we collect:

  • Email address (required) — so we can reach you.
  • Role (required) — brand, agency, publisher, creator, investor, or other. Helps us prioritise who we onboard first.
  • Company or channel name (optional) — context only.

What we don't collect

  • No analytics, no behavioural tracking, no advertising cookies.
  • No social-media login data.
  • No payment information (we don't sell anything yet).
  • No special category data (race, religion, health, biometrics, political opinions, etc.).

03Why & legal basis

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Article 6), we need a legal basis for every processing activity. Here's ours:

ActivityPurposeLegal basis
Waitlist email + role + company Notify you when your seat opens, share early-access updates about AIKOME. Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — by submitting the form. You can withdraw at any time.
Email correspondence (e.g. you email us back) Respond to your message. Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) or contract performance if you're already a customer (Art. 6(1)(b)).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

04How long we keep it

DataRetention
Waitlist signup dataUntil you ask us to delete it, or 24 months after our platform launches and we've contacted you to onboard — whichever comes first.
Email correspondenceUp to 24 months from the last exchange, then archived or deleted.

Where local law requires longer retention (e.g. for tax or accounting purposes), we'll keep the minimum required for the legally required period.

05Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data — regardless of where you are based:

  • Access — get a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — correct anything that's wrong or out of date.
  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — delete your data, with limited exceptions (e.g. tax records).
  • Restriction — pause our processing while we resolve a dispute.
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format and transfer it elsewhere.
  • Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
  • Withdraw consent — for anything we process on the basis of your consent (e.g. waitlist emails). Withdrawing doesn't affect lawfulness of past processing.
  • Lodge a complaint — with your local data protection authority (in Italy: the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@aikome.co. We'll respond within 30 days (often much faster).

06Cookies & tracking

As of the effective date of this policy, aikome.co does not set any cookies, pixels, or trackers — beyond what's technically necessary to make the site work.

If we add privacy-friendly analytics in the future (e.g. Plausible, which is GDPR-compliant by design and doesn't use cookies), we'll update this section and — if and when local law requires it — show a clear cookie banner.

07Security

We follow industry-standard practices to protect your data:

  • All traffic to aikome.co is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS).
  • Access to the waitlist data inside AIKOME is restricted to the founders and is not exported anywhere outside the originating systems.
  • We don't store payment information, so there's no card data to compromise.

No system is bulletproof. If a security incident affecting your data occurs, we'll notify the relevant data protection authority within 72 hours (as required under GDPR Art. 33) and notify you directly if your rights are at risk.

08Children

AIKOME is a B2B platform aimed at brands, agencies, publishers, creators and investors. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 years of age (the GDPR age of digital consent in most EU member states, including Italy). If you believe a minor has submitted personal data to us, please email privacy@aikome.co and we'll delete it.

09Changes to this policy

This is a "living document". We'll update it when we change tools (e.g. add analytics), launch the platform (which will introduce account data, billing, etc.), or whenever law requires it.

For material changes — anything that affects how we use your data — we'll notify everyone on the waitlist by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The "Effective" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

10Contact & complaints

For anything about your data — questions, requests, complaints — email privacy@aikome.co.

If you're not satisfied with how we handle your request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Italy, that's the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. You can also complain to the authority of the EU country where you live or work.
